He directed a statewide school, based out of Wichita, Kansas, for training pastors, youth pastors, chaplains, and local church leaders. He and his wife, Janette, pastored a rural church in Kansas while launching the school. As a missionary, he was privileged to mentor church planters in both urban and rural settings and consult with pastors who were working to revitalize struggling churches. He was an Adjunct Professor for Trinity Bible College and travelled overseas to teach in Bible colleges and institutes. He worked as a professional grant reviewer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as well as providing leadership as a board member for different non-profit corporations.
Dr. Shipley is an ordained AG minister with more than 25 years of experience as a lead pastor, presbyter, administrator and missionary. He is passionate about helping others pursue the call of God on their lives so that they can become effective Pentecostal leaders.
