Remote Password Access to Databases Licensed by AGTS
Obtaining a Password
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask for the User ID and Password that will provide you access to ebooks available through ebrary. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email within one to two days with the password.
- Access ebrary at http://site.ebrary.com/lib/agts and enter in the User ID and password when prompted.
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask for the User ID and Password that will provide you access to databases available through EBSCO. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email shortly with the password.
- Access EBSCO at http://search.ebscohost.com/login.asp?profile=web and enter in the password when prompted. This will provide you with access to the EBSCO databases that are licensed by AGTS.
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask for the User Name and Password that will provide you access to eHRAF. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email shortly with the password.
- Once you have been provided with the password, you may access eHRAF at http://ets.umdl.umich.edu/e/ehrafe.
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask that an account be set up to enable you to access the Dissertations & Theses Database. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email shortly with access information.
- Once you have been provided with the password, you may access the databases at http://search.proquest.com?accountid=30589.
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask for the Password that will provide you access to databases available through Gale Cengage. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email shortly with the password.
- Access Gale Cengage at http://infotrac.galegroup.com/itweb/morenetassmbl and enter in the password when prompted. This will provide you with access to the Gale databases that are licensed by AGTS.
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask for the Authorization and Password that will provide you online access to Encyclopedia Britannica. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email shortly with the password.
- Once you have been provided with the password, you may access Britannica at http://www.search.eb.com.
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask for the User Name and Password that will provide you online access to the BAS Online Archive. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email shortly with the password.
- Once you have been provided with the password, you may access the BAS Online Archive at http://www.basarchive.org.
- Contact Rick Oliver at the AGTS Library (roliver@agts.edu) and ask for the Email Address and Password that will provide you online access to the World Christian Database online. Be sure to identify yourself and your current student status at AGTS. You should receive an email shortly with the password.
- Once you have been provided with the password, you may access the WCD at http://www.worldchristiandatabase.org.
Important Policies to Remember
- In order to obtain passwords, you must be currently enrolled in courses at AGTS (Resident, Distance, D.Min, etc.). The only exception to this is the special access to the ATLAS database provided to alumni.
- The EBSCO password will change on an annual basis. Other passwords may change occassionally as well. It is the responsibility of the student to obtain new passwords to online databases when their old passwords no longer work.
