“I am convinced of the intrinsic power of the gospel to transform lives. It is not only the power of God for salvation but, as the inspired Word, it is the primary instrument the Spirit uses for the Christian’s spiritual formation. Thus, I delight in enabling students to become faithful stewards and lifelong students of God’s Word, accurately interpreting it and expounding its contemporary relevance through preaching and teaching." — James D. Hernando
