Fall 2003 Practicums
Applications for fall practicums should be approved and processed February
11-14. If interested, make an appointment with the appropriate practicum coordinator.
Attention Spring
Graduates
The date for taking comprehensive examinations and the deadline for submitting
seminar-quality research papers (if not in the Theological Studies Seminar class), and
analytical reflection papers is Monday, March 17. Contact Kimberly Penrod (268-1070; faculty@agts.edu)
for further details. You can download the analytical reflection paper guidelines and the
comprehensive exam guidelines for the MAIM from the current
student page at www.agts.edu.

Summer/Fall Pre-registration
Plan now to register during the week of February 25-28 for summer/fall
classes. Packets will be available in your AGTS mailbox on February 21. Schedule an appointment
with your faculty adviser beginning February 17 for registration week (see forms posted
at faculty offices). Course changes can be made later without cost through the first day
of class.
AGTS Rings &
Graduation Announcements
On Thursday, February 27, a Jostens sales representative will be on campus
to take orders for class rings and graduation announcements (see Deborah who will be located
outside of the Admissions Office).
Summer Financial
Aid Deadline
March 10 is the priority deadline to apply for summer financial aid. The
final deadline is April 4. If you received financial aid this semester, just complete
a summer student loan data
sheet. If not, the following documents are available in the Financial Aid Office or
at www.agts.edu and must be received by the deadline:
Apply Now for
Fall Financial Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid 2003-04 is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The AGTS institutional financial aid forms must
also be submitted to the AGTS Financial Aid Office. The deadlines to submit all financial
aid forms for Fall 2003 are:
- Priority DeadlineMarch 31
- Secondary DeadlineApril 28
- Final DeadlineJuly 14
Please note that in order to provide the best service for students
who complete the process on time, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS to the above deadlines.

Interested in
the National Guard?
Chaplain Jim Burns from the Arkansas National Guard will be here on Thursday,
February 6, to talk with anyone interested in joining the Arkansas National Guard. Please
meet at the conclusion of chapel for this short informational meeting.
Theological Roundtable
Meetings
On February 12, Sandy Luke will be reading her paper, "Do Divine Tears
Fall? An Examination of the Suffering of God the Father." On February 26, Alex Thomas
will be reading his paper, "The Kingdom of God". Both meetings will be held
in room 229 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. This is a brown bag event, so please bring your lunch.

Scholarships and discounts for the spring semester posted to accounts in
January. Please review your next statement carefully. If you notice any discrepancies,
please contact the Business Office (417-268-1035) immediately.
Scholarship Applications
Scholarship applications
for returning students for the 2003 fall semester are now available in the AGTS Business
Office. These forms must be completed and submitted to the Business Office by 4:30 p.m.
on Friday, January 31. Award notifications will be released by the end of February.
Deferred Payment
The next deferred payment is due on February 15. If your payment is not
received by this date, your account will be assessed a $25 late fee.
