Distance Learning Courses (DLC)
Distance Learning Courses enable individuals to earn credits toward a graduate degree without traveling to any of the participating campuses. Students study selected subjects through a variety of web-based delivery systems that create a seamless interaction between the course instructor and the students, as well as providing student to student dialogue and peer learning. A limited number of credits in an AGTS degree may be earned through distance learning or directed research (other advanced standing credit may limit the number of allowable hours).
At present,
we offer these courses for distance learning. Refund
Policy
Individuals dropping DLC must complete the
required forms and secure the approval of the registrar. The
cost of course materials included in the tuition fee is nonrefundable.
When a course is dropped, the following schedule will be used
to determine the amount of tuition refund:
- No refund on fees.
- Refund on tuition:
- Prior to receiving course materials or
start date for online courses –100%
- First week
(2nd*-6th day)–90%**
- Second week (7th-12th day)–80%**
- Third week (13th-19th
day)–70%**
- No refund after the third week (20th day)
*The first day of the course is when the
course materials arrive or start date for online courses.
