Beth Grant joins AGTS faculty
Dr. Beth Grant (M.A. 1979) joined the AGTS faculty in fall 2009 as associate professor of intercultural education.
Grant earned a Ph.D. from Biola University. She has taught missions and crosscultural communication in seminaries and universities around the world. She and husband David codirect Project Rescue, a ministry to survivors of sex trafficking. She is chairperson for the AG’s Network for Women in Ministry and the first woman elected to the Executive Presbytery of the Assemblies of God USA.
“Dr. Grant provides AGTS with a rare combination of sturdy scholarship and savvy, grass-roots experience,” said AGTS President Byron D. Klaus. “This kind of ‘knowledge on fire’ DNA is a significant contribution to the AGTS community.”
Due to the flexible format of AGTS class schedules and the seminary’s partnership with AG World Missions, Grant will continue her missions ministry overseas while serving at AGTS.
