News: Three alumni honored with church-planting awards
Three AGTS alumni were honored at the Church Multiplication Network dinner at General Council on August 7.

District Superintendent Stephen Tourville ('79/'08, above center) and District Church Planting Director Tom Rees (above left) accepted an award for the PennDel District for opening the most new churches—32 over the last two years.
Brad ('09) and Leah Leach (above) received the Urban Church Plant Award of Excellence, which is given to churches planted in urban communities of 250,000 or more. Brad and Leah planted City Life Church in south Philadelphia, Pa., in September 2011.
Verlon ('10) and Melodee Fosner (above) were awarded the Culturally Focused Church Plant Award of Excellence. The Fosners pastor Community Dinners in Seattle, Wash., and are on a mission to bring life to Seattle neighborhoods by gathering around weekly dinner tables and much more. Jeff Leake ('88, left), pastor of Allison Park Church in Allison Park, Pa., was the featured speaker at the Church Multiplication Luncheon. Under Jeff's leadership, his church has planted more than 17 churches in the Pittsburgh area over the last 17 years.
