News: Listen to AGTS Legacy Chapels with Stanley Horton
Dr. Stanley Horton was the first speaker in AGTS' new Legacy Chapel Series. He spoke during two chapel services on February 3 and 4. Lois Olena, AGTS professor and author of the biography Stanley M. Horton: Shaper of Pentecostal Theology, joined Horton on stage introducing video clips that highlighted various aspects of Horton's life. After the first service, Horton prayed over the students in the room and signed copies of Olena's book as he greeted students.
Born in 1916, Stanley Horton is the AG's premier theologian. He is the son and grandson of those directly involved in the Azusa Street revival. A professor in higher education since 1945, he is committed to training believers for local church ministry. He has authored dozens of books and hundreds of articles. Dr. Horton's life is characterized by Pentecostal fervor, a commitment to scholarship and Christ-like character.
