News: Students learn from church-planter Al Toledo
 
Pastor in Residence Al Toledo, of Chicago Tabernacle, Chicago, Illinois, spoke in chapel November 3-5, 2008. Student had opportunity to dialogue with Pastor Toledo during several classes and in a Q&A session on Tuesday, November 4.
In 2001, Pastor Toledo felt called to move his family from New York, where he was an associate pastor at the Brooklyn Tabernacle, and begin a work in the city of Chicago. In January 2002, the Chicago Tabernacle was birthed. A multi-racial church of about 400, the ministry of the Chicago Tabernacle is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Toledo's wife, Chrissy, lead worship during the services. She and her mother Carol Cymbala were key leaders in the creation of the Brooklyn Tabernacle music.
