Library Renovations

As part of the seminary-wide re-flooring project this summer, the flooring throughout the first floor of the library will be replaced in May. Students should be aware of the following:
- Library CLOSED: Friday, May 10th & Saturday, May 11th
- May 13th-17th (or later): The first floor study areas will be unavailable. (Exact dates are uncertain but will begin no earlier than the 13th.)
- May 9th-17th (or later): No computers available on the first floor. Additional computers will be set up on the second floor.
- April 26th-May 17th (or later): Many first floor collections (including Reference, Periodicals, Dissertations) will be relocated.
We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
In anticipation of these renovations, AGTS students are advised to keep in mind that they are also free to use the study spaces available in the Evangel University Library building.

New Ebook Database Available

AGTS students, faculty, and staff may now access E-book
through the ebrary Academic Complete online collection.
Description: Academic Complete, an e-book collection spanning all academic subject areas, includes a growing selection of more than 70,000 e-books from over 500 trusted publishers, including Ashgate Publishing Group, Brill Academic Publishers, Cambridge University Press, Harvard University Press, Johns Hopkins University Press, Oxford University Press, University of Chicago Press, and University of Michigan Press.

- Available any time through any web-enabled device including the iPad
- Easy-to-use interface localized in multiple languages
- ebrary InfoTools™, which turns every word into a portal to additional information in the library and on the web
- Notes and highlights that are automatically stored on a personal bookshelf
- Ability to copy/paste and print text with automatic citations and URL hyperlinks back to the source

How to Access: Can be accessed directly online from any machine connected to the AGTS network or remotely by AGTS students/faculty/staff who have a username/password. Email the library at roliver@agts.edu to request a username/password.

Important limitations to keep in mind include:
- Only limited portions of ebooks may be copied and pasted into other documents.
- It is not possible to download entire ebooks or chapters/sections of ebooks to your personal computer. Books must be viewed through the ebrary website or the ebrary reader.
- Only a limited amount of pages (usually 60) can be printed from any particular work.
