Israel
& Jordan Study Tour 2008
Want to do
biblical studies in Bible
lands?
AGTS will offer
a three-week study tour of Israel (May 11–31)
with optional half-week extension to Jordan (May
8–10) in
2008.
Earn
four graduate credits through Jerusalem
University College for this course, entitled
BIBST 593 “Geographical
and Historical Settings of the Bible,” which will transfer
into AGTS as BIB 640 “Specialized Themes in Biblical
Studies.” You
may take an additional two credits from AGTS
at regular tuition costs as a practicum.
To transfer these credits from Jerusalem
University College to AGTS, contact the Registrar’s
Office prior to departure (gheiskell@agts.edu,
268-1026).
These credits will fulfill any of the general
elective requirements and can be substituted
for any other core requirement as deemed
appropriate by the student’s
faculty adviser.
$1,500 scholarships!
Dr.
George Wood (AGTS Board of Directors, chair,
and general superintendent of the AG) is
working to secure funding to scholarship
up to 30 AGTS students at $1,500 each toward
the cost of the first of what will hopefully
become an annual event. Spouses
and non-students are welcome if space is
available; however, the scholarship is available
only to AGTS students.
