DAY OF RENEWAL SERVICES: September 30, 2009

The AGTS community set this day aside to seek God. We are hungry for him and desire to be used in ways that conform to his will. As disciples of Christ, we are accustomed to living our daily lives dedicated to him, but in the midst of all the work, sometimes we forget to give him space. On this occasion, we fasted from work and classes, purposefully setting our hearts, minds and bodies on a path to seek him during three no-frill services, which included worship, preaching and prayer.

With Guest Speaker: Sheri Benvenuti Sheri Benvenuti is a minister of God’s Word whose personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the force behind her ministry. Her ministry experience spans nearly 40 years. During this time, she has served in many ways including evangelistic, youth, music and pastoral ministry, as well as being an effective speaker at conferences, seminars and retreats. She is a past vice president at Life Pacific College, vice president of Student Affairs at Vanguard University of Southern California, and most recently the associate professor of social ethics and the director of the Center for Women’s Studies at Vanguard.
