Schedule
Spring finals are scheduled for April 21-25. Please note the special class
schedules during exam week which are listed in this Communiqué, in the student
handbook and on-line at www.agts.edu/finals.html.
Attention Summer
Graduates
Please note the following dates and deadlines for comprehensive examinations,
analytical reflection papers, and seminar-quality research papers:

Faculty News
Jim Harris spoke at a marriage
retreat for Chaplain Jeff Jay on February 21-22. Ten couples from Chaplain Jays
ministry at Fort Leonard Wood attended.
Warren Newberry presented
his paper, Contextualizing Indigenous Church Principles: An African Model
at the International Symposium on Pentecostal Mission at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary
in the Philippines, February 3-4.
Edgar Lee presented his paper,
Inerrancy and Interpretation, and participated in a panel discussion during
the Pentecostal Preachers Week at Central Assembly of God in Springfield, Mo., on March
12.
Byron Klaus spoke on Preaching
for Response on March 11 at the Pentecostal Preachers Week at Central Assembly of
God in Springfield, Mo. You can see his PowerPoint presentation on his faculty
webpage.
Gary B. McGee's paper The
Calcutta Revival of 1907 and the Reformulation of Charles F. Parhams Bible
Evidence Doctrine, was published in the January 2003 issue of the Asian Journal
of Pentecostal Studies 6. This was the topic of Dr. McGees Fall 2002 Bible and Theology
Department Lectureship. You can link to his lecture from his faculty
webpage.
Stephen Lim conducted a seven-hour
workshop on preaching for the Springfield Ministers Alliance (African-American) on March
1 and 8.

May 7
Spring grades will be available in the student mailboxes on May
7. If you prefer to have grades mailed to you, contact the Records Office (admissions@agts.edu).
Summer Registration
May 5
The next possible date to register for summer or fall is Monday, May 5.
To secure forms, stop by the Records Office.

Federal Financial
Aid Deadline April 28
The secondary deadline for fall/spring federal financial aid is April 28.
The benefits of observing this deadline include:
- Electronic FAFSA allows prompt consideration for loan
- Potential for receiving a Perkins loan increases (based on funds on
hand)
- First Stafford Loan check available first week of classes
To qualify, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and other required
forms must be electronically submitted and processed by April 28. The final deadline providing
fewer benefits for you is July 14. Financial aid documents can
be downloaded at www.agts.edu. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more details (268-1028
or loans@agts.edu).
Summer Stafford
Loans Available
There is still time to apply for a student loan for this summer. The final
deadline for completing the process is April 4. If you are only taking three credit hours
for summer and need financial aid, please contact the Financial Aid Office immediately
(268-1028 or loans@agts.edu).
Financial Aid Exit
Interviews
The U.S. Department of Education requires all graduates or non-returning
students who received a Stafford Loan while at AGTS to attend a Financial Aid Exit Interview.
Select one of the following dates to attend this 60-minute session: April 9 or 10 at 1:30
p.m. in room 225. Non-graduates must inform the Financial Aid Office now so that the proper
forms can be prepared in advance (268-1028 or loans@agts.edu).

Good Friday
There will be no classes and no work scheduled on Good Friday, April 18.
Final exams begin on Monday, April 21.
Theological Roundtable
This marks the end of the first year of the AGTS Theological Roundtable.
We are greatly appreciative to those who presented papers and to all the students and
faculty who participated. All papers presented this year are available under the public
documents section of the hard drive. If you are interested in planning for the upcoming
year or have any creative ideas concerning the facilitation of theological reflection
