The Master of Divinity (MDiv) (78 hours)* is the most comprehensive graduate-level option for leadership training and is the ideal preparation for doctoral studies.** It prepares students for a wide range of ministry venues such as pastoral ministry, missionary service, chaplaincy, church planting, campus ministry and college teaching and administration. This degree contains various concentrations that allow you to tailor your program to fulfill the unique call God has placed on your life.

Military and Institutional Chaplaincy
*Students who have not taken 6 credits of pre-seminary or basic Greek at the undergraduate level must take it during their first year at AGTS in addition to the 78 credits required.
**This is the only degree that qualifies you for entrance into the Doctor of Ministry program. Students planning to enter a PhD program or military chaplaincy may profit from taking an additional 12 credits in their field of interest.
